About
Warwickshire Windows is a set of working notes about glazing, doors and roofline, written from jobs around Warwick, Leamington Spa, Kenilworth and Stratford-upon-Avon.
It exists because most of what is written about windows is written by people selling them. The questions that actually come up on a job -- whether a sash is worth saving, why a unit has misted, what a U-value is measuring, how anyone is supposed to get onto a conservatory roof safely -- tend to get answered badly or not at all.
Nothing here is for sale. There is no quote form and no call-back. If a note saves somebody a needless replacement or a bad decision on a Saturday morning, that is the whole of the ambition.
